Anna L. Goodhart
February 22, 1925 — January 31, 2024
Anna L. Goodhart, 98, wife of the late Richard H. Goodhart, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on February 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Anna Mazzola.
Anna was an active member of the baptismal community with Christ the King Church, Guilderland. She worked for many years mainly in personnel and law departments with Niagra Mohawk. Anna found the greatest joy in spending time with her family. Later in her life, Anna endeared many, especially through her dry sense of humor and infectious laughter.
She is survived by her three children, Laurie (Raynald) Herbert, Richard and Jayne Goodhart; granddaughter Camille (Zack) Dettmore; great grandchildren Wilder and Maxine Dettmore.
In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Frank Mazzola, Joseph Mazzola, Mary Zalucky, Lucy Bowen and Rose Caracciolo.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 11:00 am - 11:30 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY. At 11:30am we will begin a procession to Graceland Cemetery for a Graveside Service.
Anna and her family would like to thank the kind and caring nurses of Community Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's honor to Christ the King Church, or a charity of your choice.
