Anna L. Heller

Amsterdam- Anna L. Heller, 72, It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Louise Heller on September 27, 2024. Born on April 1, 1952, Anna dedicated over 30 years of her life to serving the people of New York State as a committed public servant. Her career was marked by a profound sense of duty, integrity, and a genuine care for her community.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Anna was a talented author who shared her love for cooking through her published cookbook, which has been cherished by many. Her recipes and culinary insights have brought joy and comfort to countless kitchens.

Anna's warmth and kindness were felt by all who knew her. She was deeply loved and respected by her family, friends, and community. Her legacy of love, service, and dedication will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Anna is survived by her son, Benjamin Heller; her daughter-in-law, Catherine Adika; her brother, Richard McIntosh; her niece, Jessica McIntosh; and her nephew, Anthony McIntosh. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family and the many lives she touched.

In lieu of a memorial service, the family requests that donations be made in Anna's honor to your local animal shelter or humane society, a cause she held dear to her heart.
