Anna Maej. Reeves

COLONIE – Anna Mae J. (Towle) Reeves, 75, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Teresian House.
Anna Mae was born on October 1, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Beswich) Towle. She had been a Colonie resident for 30 years. Ann Mae retired in 2005 from the bakery at Hannaford Stores in Colonie. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Anna Mae leaves behind her loving children, Maureen (Daniel) Corkrey and George (Elizabeth) Reeves and her cherished grandchildren, Daniel (Dawn) Corkrey, Meaghan Corkrey, Christine Reeves, Susan (Matthew) Hogan, and Chelsea Reeves. She was one of 13 children and is survived by her sisters, Lillian and Irene and her brother, Robert.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to her extended family at the Teresian House for the loving care she received.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Memory Gardens at the convenience of the family.
