CLIFTON PARK- Anna May F. Skiba Lupien, 75, of Clifton Park, passed away on Thursday April 13, 2006 at St. Peters Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Holyoke, MA and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Aniela (Nellie) Szafran Skiba. Anna May was a 1947 graduate of Holyoke High School. She was predeceased in 1989 by her beloved husband Leopaul Lupien.
Along with her late husband, they had owned and operated their family business, Audio Visual Sales & Service in Guilderland for many years. The family business continues to thrive and grow. Anna May was an owner and participant of Saratoga Harness Racing and a member of the New York State Horse Racing Association. She enjoyed traveling and sharing many joyous occasions with her loving family. Anna May was a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church.
She is the beloved mother of Bruce R. (Sandra) Lupien , Paul M. (Teresa) Lupien of Clifton Park, Dawn M. (Robert) Vann of Guilderland, Leo Allen (Pamela) Lupien, Joy A. (Joseph Jr.) Cotazino of Voorheesville and Glenn E. (Amy) Lupien of Delanson. She is the cherished grandmother of Davin (Karen) Card, Dan Card, Laura (Mark) Curtis, Joey III and Maria Cotazino, Wayne, Nicole, Paul, Aniela, Justin, Kathryn and Abigail Lupien. Great grandmother of Annalee Rae Card. Several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Edward the Confessor Church, Clifton Park at 11:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, NENY, 12 Avis Drive Latham, NY 12110 in memory of Anna May F. Lupien.
