Anna O. Olsen

Niskayuna - Anna Olsen, 88, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Capital Living Nursing and Rehab Center in Schenectady.
Anna was born on July 12, 1929 in Woodside, Long Island, and was the daughter of the late John Helma and Louise (Held) Olsen.
Anna had a love for life and touched everyone's heart that she came in touch with. She loved animals and children. Anna worked for GE in Schenectady until her retirement. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Rexford and was very involved in the vacation Bible School and the church's lental dinners. Anna will be greatly missed by everyone.
Anna is survived by her cousin, Eleanor Amorosi of Niskayuna; and her dearest friend, Nancy Ellen Haas of Niskayuna.
Anna was predeceased by her sister, Johanna "Joanie" Olsen.
An appreciation and great thank you to the staff of Capital Living for their kindness, care and compassion to Anna and family at this difficult time.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Park View Cemetery, Schenectady, NY. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Anna.
