ALBANY—Anna P. Colonno Remy, 88, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 14.
Anna was born in West Albany a daughter of the late Vincent and Mary LaGrippo Colonno. Anna loved to spend time with her family and friends. She had a big heart and a big laugh. She loved to play cards and always had a pot of sauce on the stove for those that visited. She was a member of St. Clare's Seniors, the VFW 8692 and the HBK Senior Center.
Anna was the beloved mother of Loretta, Roger, Wayne Remy; loving grandmother of Matthew, April, Brandon, Alexander, Rachel; adoring great-grandmother of Kennedy; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the cherished sister of Annette Hallak, Virginia Urban and the late Rose Melucci, Theresa DelPozzo, Mary Urban, Daniel, Anthony and Alexander (Ike) Colonno. She was the beloved friend of Marjorie Mock and the late Raquel Krueger.
Services will be held Saturday morning at 10 am at the New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. (rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). Interment to follow in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday evening from 4 to 8 PM.
