Guilderland- Anna St. Pierre, 81, born March 23, 1929, passed peacefully on October 27th in the comfort of her home, under the care of her loving family. She was born in New Bedford, MA and is the daughter of the late Cornelius and Mae Murray Sullivan.
Ann (Sammy) was a bookkeeper with Price Chopper in Guilderland for over twenty years. More recently she had worked with her family at Michele's Deli in Albany for several years. A born leader, social butterfly and forever outspoken woman, Ann lived life on her own terms. She was particularly proud of her Irish heritage. Ann enjoyed lively conversation, spirited family gatherings and had a remarkable youthful energy
and quick wit.
Ann is survived by her sister Margaret Smith Wing, her son Robert (Bonnie) St. Pierre, her daughters Michele St. Pierre (Colleen O'Connor) and Robin (Keith) Snavely, her grandchildren Erin St. Pierre, Nicholas St. Pierre, Craig and Megan Mormino, Stefany Snavely, and her great grandson Tyler George Gennett, as well as a large number of beloved family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited and my call on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A Celebration of Ann's life will be offered at 7:00 pm on Friday evening. In keeping with Ann's wishes and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205.
