Anna T. Stafford

Albany- Anna T. Stafford, 84, peacefully passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Lamont and Anna M. Sawyer.

Anna T. Stafford enjoyed listening to, watching, and dancing to country music. You could hear an array of Country Music artists such as Conway Twitty, Alan Jackson, and Reba McEntire playing in the background as you entered her kitchen. She always took pride in keeping a beautiful, tidy, and inviting home. She welcomed all, and took pleasure in long enjoyable conversations with everyone! Most of all, she loved her family and made her love known, especially to her true love & companion, her children, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her loving long time companion, Crawford Burnham, children, Barbara L. Walters, Anna M. Stafford, Charles Stafford, and Richard Stafford, grand children, Sandra (Ken) La, Robert Stafford, Timothy Walters, Justin Walters, Amber Walters, and Mariah Wray, eight great grand children, long time friends, Susan Fuller, and Kim Zwack, along with other loved family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Anna is predeceased by her siblings, Robert, Theresa, Clarence, Johnny, Mary, and Alice.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A funeral service will take place following the calling hour at 2:00 pm. The burial will take place privately by the family at a later date.
