Albany - Anna F. Viglucci (nee Tonetti), 91, passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Italo and Mary (Schuch) Tonetti. Ann was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Viglucci, Sr.
Ann was born in Buffalo, New York on June 19,1925 and later moved to Albany as a child where she attended St. Joseph's Academy and was Valedictorian of her senior class. She was a great Italian cook, loved the New York Yankees and her hometown Buffalo Bills. Ann worked for a number of years at the Casual Set when it was on Washington Avenue, Albany and most recently at Trustco Bank.
Ann was the dear mother of Andrew M. (Michele) Viglucci, and Michael J. (late Risa) Viglucci, Jr.; loving sister of the late Michel Tonetti, Louis (Gloria) Tonetti, Elizabeth (Thomas) Arcolano, Frederick (Christine) Herbst and Mary Fiedler. She was the loving grandmother of Nicole (Jeffrey) Lemerond and Brian (Sabrina) Viglucci. Ann was also the great grandmother of William, Charles and Charlotte Lemerond and Julia, Michael and Frankie Viglucci. Ann is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY on Tuesday, March 14 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Funeral Service will immediately follow calling hours. Interment will be at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY.
