Troy - Anna M. Vogt-Church, 83, passed away peacefully with family by her side on, Monday, January 1, 2018. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late James G. Church and Celia DeMaria Church and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School.
Anna was an exceptional hair stylist who owned and operated several hair salons in the Capital District, including the Dorian Beauty Salon, which she started with her sister Marion Field. She enjoyed cooking and was very proud of her family's Italian heritage. Anna loved spending time with her family and friends, always willing to help whoever needed it.
Survivors include her children, Leo, Patricia, Stephen (Katie) and Maria Kachidurian. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Will, Heather, Rebecca (Kevin), Stephanie (Will), Adam, Jack, Noah, Michael, Anthony and Ashley who was very special to her. She also leaves behind five great grandchildren, Aidan, Michaela, Thomas, Joshua and Cooper. She is also survived by an aunt Elizabeth DeMaria, dear cousin Barbara DeMaria and Beverly O'Neil, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Anna is predeceased by her siblings, James G. Church Jr. and Marion V. Field.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 3:00pm-4:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet NY, 12189. Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
