Annalee Catherine Ruot Lasch, 38, of Guilderland, New York, passed away September 2, 2023 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born December 14, 1984 in La Jolla, California to her parents Donna Ann Bartlett and Bruce Leon Ruot. After graduating from Greenville High School in 2003 she went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University at Albany.

While attending college she was employed by Rehabilitation Support Services as a Residence Counselor and later as a Housing Specialist. Annalee later went on to work as a Senior Trainer at the Research Foundation for SUNY. For the last 9 years she has been the Professional Development Coordinator at the Center for Public Health Continuing Education with the University at Albany.

She married Ryan Michael Lasch on September 3, 2011 in the hidden garden at Albany City Hall. They welcomed their daughter Hazel Ruthann Lasch in 2018. Annalee was predeceased by her grandparents Annabelle and Donald Bartlett of Latham, New York and Cape Coral, Florida and Leon and Hermina Ruot of Harwinton, Connecticut as well as her father-in-law John W. Lasch, Sr. of Albany, New York.

She is survived by her husband Ryan and daughter Hazel of Guilderland, New York, her parents Donna Bartlett of Guilderland and Bruce Ruot (Sharon) of Rensselaer, New York. Also mourning her loss is her brother Ethan B. Ruot (Brenda Nuernberger) of Kenmore, New York and their children Lily and Owen. Survivors also include her aunts and uncles, Shirley Bartlett DiRusso (Don) of Fort Myers, Florida, Alan Bartlett (Joyce) of Malta, New York, and Ronald Bartlett (Marie) of Schaghticoke, New York, as well as Nancy Ruot Schlosky (Charles) of Harwinton, Connecticut. Her loss is deeply felt by her mother-in-law Joann Lasch of Albany and Ryan's brother John W. Lasch, Jr., his wife Christine and daughter Avery. Annalee was also blessed to have several loving cousins, many dear and faithful friends, and supportive colleagues.

Annalee loved to travel. Some of her trips included going to Italy, Mexico, England, Ireland and to various Dave Matthews concerts around the country. She enjoyed going on cruises as well as going to California, Key West, taking her daughter to Disney World, and visits to Nantucket. She and Ryan enjoyed yearly "friendcations" with their tight knit group of friends and their children to various fantastic summer locations.

Annalee loved sports and played varsity volleyball at Greenville High School where she was the co-captain of the team. She also enjoyed performing in the school musicals and performing with the chorus as well as with a special singing group called "Nothing but Treble." She has always been an avid history buff and was a member of the Tawasentha Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She adored her daughter and enjoyed taking her to dance classes, t-ball games, teaching her about the world, and encouraging her in every way.
