Anne B. Farley passed away on April 2, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at the Eddy Heritage House in Troy. She was 90 years old.
The daughter of the late John and Hanora (Moran) Bowman, Anne was born on December 12, 1924 in Troy, NY. Anne was a loving mother, Nana, sister, aunt and friend. She had a great love of traveling with yearly trips to Myrtle Beach and Cape Cod. Anne adored her grandchildren, music, dancing, and was known to enjoy a glass of wine.
In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by her husband of 48 years Philip P. Farley, Jr. and her son Brion M. Farley; her sister Margaret Bowman and brother John Bowman; her son-in-law Bert Hagyard. She is survived by her daughters: Judith Hagyard and Patricia (Michael) Wroblewski; her daughter-in-law Debi Farley; her grandchildren: Erica and Dane Wroblewski and Anna and Jack Farley; her sisters: Helen Stortecky and Mary (Joseph) Bouchard and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Monday, April 6 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 am on Tuesday April 7 at All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead Road, Albany. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.
The family would like to thank 3rd floor staff of the Eddy Heritage House for their loving and compassionate care of Anne.
