SLINGERLANDS – Anne Ellis Brandon, 88, of Slingerlands, entered peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday July 18, 2012 at home surrounded by her daughters.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late John and Anne Byrne Ellis. Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband Donald G. Brandon, her son Donald W. Brandon and her brothers, John, Thomas and Joseph Ellis. She was the former secretary at St. Madeline Sophie Church in Guilderland.
Anne was the beloved mother of seven daughters; Patricia Anene (Charles), Mary Brandon, Christine Luckett, Kathleen Chevalier (Steven), Jeanne Ryan (Gerard), Nancy Chevalier (Mark) and Ellen Brandon (Kevin Andress). She was the cherished grandmother of Christine Anene, Bridget Duffy and her fiancé Matthew Ward, Andrew and Patrick Luckett, Katie Anne and John Chevalier, Clare, Patrick, John Paul and Anne Ryan, Elizabeth Anne, Michael and Laura Chevalier, Alexandra and Olivia Andress.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 23, 2012 at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Guilderland.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie.
Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Regional Food Bank of NENY, 965 Albany-Shaker Rd., Latham, NY 12110 in memory of Anne Brandon.
