Albany – Anne C. Lynch, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday November 30, 2014. Born in Albany, she is the daughter of the late Harold and Helen Babcock.
Anne loved to press her luck with a game of chance and was an avid BINGO player and enjoyed her trips to the Racino.
Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, John "Jack" L. Lynch; her sister, Hope (Fred) Scheppers; and her brother-in-law Keith Stark.
Anne is survived by her children, Linda (Jerry) Malloy, Ronald Lynch, Robert (Mary) Lynch and William Lynch; her grandchildren, Michael (Jackie) Lynch, Christopher Lynch and Jennifer Lynch; her sister, Faith Stark. She is also survived by her canine companion, Summer a.k.a. "Fluffy" and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Those wishing to remember Anne in a special way may make memorial contributions in her name to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave. Menands, NY 12204.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Anne on Thursday December 4th at 9:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church. Calling hours for Anne will be held on Wednesday December 3rd from 4-7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home.
