ALBANY- Anne B. Hayes passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Anne was born on November 25, 1940 to the late George and Marjorie (Pike) LaFountain in Bennington, VT.
She retired from Ellis Hospital after working there for many years. She cherished the time spent with family and friends. Anne also loved camping and it was her favorite thing to do in the summer. She will be dearly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, William E. Hayes, Sr. and her son William E. Hayes, Jr.; her son-in-law, Timothy Swint and her son-in-law, Phillip Hoyt.
Anne is survived by her children, Lisa Swint, Karen Hoyt and Laurie Angus (Scott) grandchildren; Ciji (Dan), Gena (Bobby), Heather, Ashley (James), and Adam; 6 great grandchildren; her brother, Charles LaFountain (Sandy) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a service to immediately follow. Interment will be held at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations made in Anne's name to Community Hospice Foundation, 310 South Manning Boulevard
