ALBANY – Anne "Nancy" Boland-Shea, 53, died suddenly on Friday, December 31, 2004. She was born in Albany on October 27, 1951 and was the daughter of the late John and Mary Boland. She is survived by her beloved children, Maureen (Winant) LaChance and her husband, Joseph of West Sand Lake and Matthew Winant of Colonie. Anne is the sister of Eileen (David) Marinucci of Colonie, Kathleen (Paul) DiLello of Loudonville, John Boland of Colonie and Paul (Cherie) Boland of Colonie. She is the very proud and loving grandmother to her grandsons, Liam Swiatek and Michael LaChance. She is the niece of Susan (Jack) Corey of Latham, John (Mary) O'Gara of England and Philip Gara of Loudonville. Also surviving is her niece, Kelly Lanza and her nephews, Aron Lanza, Bryan DiLello and Brendan DiLello, as well as many cousins. Anne's family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses who have helped care for her over the last few years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Colonie. Calling hours will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 3 Winners Circle, Suite 300, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Anne Boland-Shea.
