Anne T. Moloney

COLONIE – Anne T. Moloney, 92, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in County Monaghan, Ireland, Anne was raised in County Fermanagh and was the daughter of the late Patrick and Maggie (McGovern) Crudden. Anne was a self-employed seamstress for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Albany. In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by her husband, Thomas F. Moloney, her sons, Michael Moloney and Thomas J. Moloney, Jr. and her siblings, Betty, John and Margaret.


Anne is the devoted mother of Jim Moloney and his wife, Mary of East Greenbush, Mary M. Ricard and her husband, Michael of Altamont, Peter J. Moloney and his wife, Maureen of Delmar. She is the cherished grandmother of Tim and Brendan Ricard and Kelly, Ryan, Katie and Lauren Moloney. Anne's family would like to express special thanks to John Crisorio for all of his help and support.


Funeral services will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:30 a.m. where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, and at the request of the family, memorial contributions are requested to Blessed Sacrament Church Building Fund, 607 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12206 in memory of Anne T. Moloney.
