Albany~
A lifelong resident of Albany passed away on March 13, 2018. A graduate of Albany High School who spent her life raising and taking care of her family and providing a home to many children over her lifetime. Anne had a wonderful and giving heart that she demonstrated throughout her life. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Ellen (Keys) Coons. She was preceded by her husband Richard in 1996. She had six children, sons; Richard (Nancy) Brian (Barbara), Michael (Chris) and preceded by her son Mark. She also has two daughters, Dawn (Jack) and Kelly (Richard). She is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition she is survived by her sisters Joan Cushing and Mary Miller.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, March 19th 8-9:45am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, where prayers will be offered at 10am thence to: Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am
Interment will follow the mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
The family requests that donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr, Tampa, FL 33607 or the Hudson Mohawk Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204.
