Annelizabeth "Beth" Curtis, 65, of Colonie passed away unexpectedly at Albany Medical Center on Thursday April 17, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
She graduated from Niskayuna High School and attended Albany School of Nursing. She worked in the field of drug and alcohol abuse counseling before giving birth to the joys of her life, her twins Jason and Jessica, the children of her first husband, Doug Wormer.
Beth owned and operated Albany Electrolysis and Advanced Laser Hair Removal for 35 years where she lovingly cared for thousands of clients. Her passions included her family, friends, and animals and her white Toyota Tundra.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late Truman and Nancy (Vosburgh) Curtis. Beth is the beloved wife of Douglas W. Sack. She is the devoted mother of Jason Wormer, Jessica (Gregory) Mack, Brian Sack and Gregory (Jennifer) Sack. She is the dear sister of Dick (Shirley) Curtis, Diane Curtis-Crimmins (Joel) and the late James Curtis. Beth is also survived by her Mother-in-law Doris Sack, six grandchildren Branson, Callan, Addelyn, Ireland, Curtis, and Cora Annabeth, and Godson Cody.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, Attn: Development Dept. 3 Oakland Avenue Menands, NY 12204-2718 in memory of Beth.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday from 10 am to 12 noon at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A Celebration of Beth's Life will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home.
