COLONIE- Anneta Katsoudas, age 86, passed away on January 19, 2022 at the Teresian House surrounded by her family.
She was born in Blasti, Greece, the daughter of the late Dimitrios and Eleni Zikides. She was predeceased by her husband Antonios Katsoudas and her son Christos Katsoudas.
Anneta moved to America with her husband and three children in March of 1969.
Her most important thing was to be a mother and homemaker while working at the family diners. She was an active member of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church. She enjoyed making pastries for the festivals.
Anneta is survived by her children, Eleni (Mark) Tashjian and James (Tracey) Katsoudas; grandchildren: Alex, Elecia, Mark Jr., Casey, Brenna, Zoe and Krista; niece, Eleni and nephew, Kostas.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Thursday January 27, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Friday January 28, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 440 Whitehall Road, Albany, NY. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Albany. Face Masks are required to attend.
