RAVENA-Annette Stephens, 53, passed away unexpectedly on August 12, 2016 at Albany Medical Center.
She was born on August 13, 1962 to Bill and Margaret (Patsky) Stocker in Hudson, NY.
Annette grew up in Hudson, NY and graduated from Hudson High School. She was a wonderful devoted and loving wife to her husband Willie. She was a kind and compassionate person who believed that it took a village to raise a child. She was always taking care of others, whether her child or someone else's she was always looking out for them.
Annette was a very talented crafter, an excellent cook, she kept a very clean home and took great care of her family. The love that she showed to others will truly be missed.
Annette is survived by her loving husband Willie; her daughter, Jennifer Bates; her parents Bill and Margaret; granddaughters, Shaelyn and Raelyn Bates; niece, Nichole Rieffannacht; sisters, Janette Moore, Lisa Stocker, Billie Jo Marquez, Tammy Chambers; mother-in-law, Betty L. Stephens; sisters-in-law, Gloria McCallum, Louise Everett-Stephens, Gladys Hill; brothers-in-law, Gregory Stephens, Sinclair Eley; lifelong friends, Erica Delong and Tammy Hearon and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her nephew Clifford Moore, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 12-1pm at New Comer Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate Annette's life will begin at 1pm on Saturday at New Come Funeral Home.
