COLONIE- Anson M. Breen, 20, was taken from us suddenly on February 26, 2006.
He was born in Albany and resided in Colonie. Anson was a supervisor at UPS in Latham. Anson's unselfish nature was always present to his family and friends. He would put aside his personal goals and needs to be there for his friends and their families. Being considered one of the family, by his lifelong friends, was most dear to him.
He especially enjoyed fishing with his brothers and friends and ever watchful over his younger brothers and sisters. As a youngster he always made an impression on his many coaches and teammates at Colonie Little League and his days at Sand Creek Middle School under the guidance of Patrick Gunner.
He is the beloved son of Daniel and Darlene Benedetto Breen. Paternal great grandson of Catherine Zehner; Cherished grandson of Kay Ives-Breen and the late Leo Breen and the late Anglea Dumura. He is the loving brother of Edward J. (Katie) Conroy III, Bradley (Sara) Breen, Mallory, Chelsea and Dustin Breen. He is the uncle of Nicholas J. Conroy and the godchild of Andrea Faragon all of Colonie. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and his canine companion. Maximus.
We thank God for giving Anson to us and the time that we had with him. Special thanks to Colonie EMT Dale Hebert, Glen Hebert and Colonie Police Sergeant John Archambault for their heartfelt compassion and comfort provided during our tragic moment.
Calling hours will be Wednesday evening from 3 to 7 pm at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt.155-south of Central Ave).
