Anthony T. Bollock, 99, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at his Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Delmar. Born on June 12, 1917 in Watervliet, NY, he was the son of the late Istvan and Mary (Balog) Bollock. Anthony proudly served with the United States Army during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi for many years. Anthony was a kind man and he befriended every four-footed creature that he encountered.
Anthony is survived by his nephew, George Bollock and several nieces and nephews. Anthony is also survived by his close friends, Diane Cowan and Cheri Doolittle. In addition to his parents Anthony was predeceased by his wife Mildred and his siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 15 at 10 am at St. Francis of Assisi, 391 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY 12209. Interment with military honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
