Anthony C. "Tony" Carr, 46, of Colonie, NY passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
Born April 1, 1978 in Albany, NY, he was the son of Charles and Carolyn (Grant) Carr.
Tony graduated from Colonie Central High School, Class of 1996. Later he began working as a Welding Inspector at Entec Consultants in Latham NY. In his spare time, he enjoyed betting on the horse races, and visiting the Whitney Viewing Stand in Saratoga NY. He was a talented musician and loved playing the guitar. Tony loved his nieces and nephews and enjoyed being their uncle.
In addition to his parents, Tony is survived by sisters Diana (Carl) Kuentzel and Amy (Marc) Carr-Scholer; his nieces Alexis (James) Brown, Dominique Kuentzel, and Katie Scholer; nephews, Carl J. Kuentzel III, and Charlie Scholer; also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tony was predeceased by his grandparents Catherine and Arthur Grant, and Charles and Theresa Carr.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205.
