Cervoni, Anthony "Tony" D.
Anthony "Tony" D. Cervoni, 29, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 6, 2009. He was born in Niskayuna to Dominick and Pamela (Dwyer) Cervoni. Tony worked for Southwest Airlines of Albany. He loved to travel, especially to Yankee games and he lived life to the fullest, always being there for others. In addition to his parents, Tony is survived by his maternal grandparents Albert and Virginia Dwyer, his sister Jennifer (Andrew) Burke, his life partner Amanda McKay, his Uncles Louis (Susan) Cervoni, Albert (Linda) Dwyer, Robert (Rose) Dwyer, his Great Aunt Janet Fisch and several loved and cherished cousins and friends. Tony was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Domenico and Concetta Cervoni.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-South of Central Ave.), then to St. Madeline Sophie Church at 10am where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow the Mass at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schenectady. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Trauma Unit and Pastoral Care Team at Albany Medical Center Hospital and an extra special thank you to Southwest Airlines for all their help. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Madeleine Sophie Church Building Fund, 3500 Carman Road, Schenectady, NY 12303 in memory of Anthony D. Cervoni.
