Anthony Della Rocco

COLONIE- Anthony M. Della Rocco, 78, of Colonie, passed away on Thursday February 3, 2005 at St. Peters Hospital. He was born in West Albany and was the son of the late Michael and Rose Pitcherello Della Rocco. Anthony was a WWII Army veteran. He had worked for several years as heavy hauling truck driver for CM Gridley & Sons in Schenectady. He is beloved husband of fifty years to Albina Landor Della Rocco. He is the devoted father of Michael D. Della Rocco and his wife Doris and Mark A. Della Rocco. He is the brother of Lena Della Rocco. Cherished grandfather of Alisha Harris (Frank), Lon and Joseph Normandin. Great grandfather of Eric, Jacob, Zachary and Tyler.
Anthonys family wishes to extend sincere thanks and appreciation to St. Peters Hospital ICU staff, Dr. Thomas Canavan and his staff for all of their compassionate care and thoughtfulness.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, Waterford. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peters Hospital Foundation , 315 S. Manning Blvd. Albany, NY 12208 in memory of Anthony M. Della Rocco.
