Anthony J. Gallo

Rotterdam- Anthony J. Gallo, Sr., 63, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on October 26, 2016 at Ellis Hospital after a long illness. Born in Schenectady, NY on August 17, 1953, he was the son of Carmen and Grace (Cupps) Gallo. He attended Schalmont High School. Anthony served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Anthony loved to spend time outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hunting and four wheeling. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Anthony is survived by his wife Lisa Gallo; his daughters: Angela Keiley and Carly Gallo; sons: Anthony Gallo, Jr. and Nicholas Gallo; his brother Peter Gallo; his grandchildren: Nicholas, Grace and Mason and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, Anthony was predeceased by his brothers: Carmen and Augustine Gallo.
Visitation will be from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, October 30 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held on Monday October 31 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sts. Cyril and Method Cemetery, Rotterdam.
