Anthony Gerasia

Albany- Anthony Gerasia, 54, passed away on January 2, 2017, with his loving family by his side. Anthony was the son of Robert and the late Gloria Gerasia. Anthony was the devoted husband to Beth A. Gerasia. They were married 19 years.

Tony was employed for many years with what was formerly BFI, currently Republic Service. Tony was all about family, with whom he enjoyed spending as much time as possible, especially with his grandchildren, Thomas and Jason and his niece, Nicole. Tony worked years with his brother and best friend, Joe and his brother Bob was also one of his best friends. Tony had a great love for his dogs, mostly Chee Chee.

Anthony is survived by his children, Paul Angelo, and Alyssa C.(Justin) Davis; grandchildren, Thomas and Jason Davis; brother, Bob (Denise) and niece, Nicole; and brother, Joe (Jutta). Tony is also survived by his aunts, Mae (Mike) Hughes, Audrey Bonsel, and Lillian Hughes; and many beloved Murphy family members, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. A Memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm at the funeral home.
