ROTTERDAM – Anthony J. Barratiere Sr., 72, passed away suddenly on Saturday December 27, 2014 at home.
Born in Schenectady on January 21, 1942 he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Barratiere. He was a lifelong area resident who worked for Central Brown taxi for many years.
He is survived by his wife Joan Barratiere and beloved father to Cindy Ryan (Jim), Debbie Greco, Anthony Barratiere Jr., Richard Barratiere (Sofia), Tammy Barratiere (Stanley), Nikki Barratiere (Armel). He was also the loving Papa to Mandy, Richard, Jason, Megan, Ashley, Stanley (But But), Jilly, Laci, Matthew, Richard and Jayden, and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Dottie Adams (EJ), Richard Barratiere (Lou), Robert Barratiere (Ann), and Joseph Barratiere.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 2 at 6:30pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 6:30pm at the funeral home.
