Anthony J. Baumann

GUILDERLAND – Anthony J. Baumann, 65, of Guilderland, passed away on Thursday July 22, 2010 at the Inn of Community Hospice after a long illness.
He was born in Albany and was the son of the late William and Jennie Loguidice Baumann. Tony was a truck driver with Georgia Pacific for thirty five years. He loved the Jersey shore, his corvette, snowmobiling, the New York Yankees and coaching his son's baseball teams.
Tony is the beloved husband of 45 years to Mary Kathleen Martin Baumann. He is the devoted father of David (Christine) Baumann, Michael (Dawn) Baumann, Matthew (Heather) Baumann and Brian (Rene') Baumann. Tony is the brother of William (Beverly) Baumann and Jeanne (Eric) Frey. He is the cherished grandfather of Cody Joseph, Olivia Margaret, Anthony David, Brandon William, William Michael, Gabrielle Rae, Gracemary Lynn, Justin Tyler and Madison Marie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 9:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to Christ the King Church at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens. In recognition for the wonderful care of Tony provided by the Guadalupe Unit, memorial contributions are suggested to Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, 2 Mercycare Lane. Guilderland, NY 12084.
