Anthony J. Nobile

Schenectady- Anthony J. Nobile, 81, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2005, at the Ellis Center Long Term Care Facility. Born in Albany he was the son of the late Luigi and Maria Nobile. Anthony had worked for International Harvester for a number of years. He then went on to work for St. Clare's Hospital until his retirement in 1986. Anthony was a kind and generous man who would give the shirt off his back to even a complete stranger. He was loved by his family and everyone he came in contact with and will be dearly missed. Anthony is predeceased by his brother Vito Nobile.
Anthony leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Rose Nobile Urban of Florida, Michael Nobile of Florida, Brian Nobile of Malta, and Michelle Nobile Schmidt of Potsdam; his grandchildren, Shawn, Jason, Billy, Randi, Ben, Olivia, Richelle, and Amanda; and many other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ellis Center Long Term Care Facility, C/O Ellis Hospital Foundation, 1101 Nott Street, Schenectady, NY 12308, or to the Community Hospice of Schenectady Co., 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308 in memory of Anthony J. Nobile.
