Anthony J. Pietrosanto, 81, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2014 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center.
Anthony was born June 9, 1933, in Schenectady, and was the son of the late Ralph and Margaret (Palma) Pietrosanto.
Anthony graduated from Knott Terrace High School. He proudly served with the United States Air Force and was the owner of Tina Marie's Garden Center, Albany.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son Ralph Michael Pietrosanto.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife of over 59 years, Tina Pietrosanto, his beloved children, Yvonne (Brad) Konopaske and Tina Marie (Patrick) Clancy. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Jason (Marina), Justin, Kevin, Aidan and Ava.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Christ the King building Fund, 20 Sumter Ave., Albany, NY 12203, in Anthony's memory.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center for all their care and compassion given to Anthony and his family.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 11:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 20 Sumter Ave., Albany, NY 12203. Visitation will precede the Mass from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the Church. Interment will follow the Mass in the Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
