Anthony J. Prinzo

ALBANY – Anthony J. Prinzo, 49, of Albany, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born and educated in Albany and is the beloved son of Rosalie Porcello Prinzo and the late Carmen J. Prinzo Sr. Anthony has worked in his family business, Prinzo's Bakery for all of his life. He was a gentle soul that was loved by all who knew him. Anthony was a horse racing enthusiast and enjoyed traveling.
In addition to his Mother, Anthony is survived by his siblings; Carmen (Judy) Prinzo Jr. of Las Vegas, Lori J. (Matt) Johnson of San Diego, Teresa M. Husson (late Paul) (Joe Urso) of Scotia, Joseph A. (Philomena) Prinzo of East Greenbush and Anna M. Prinzo of Albany. Anthony is the dear friend of Julie LaBelle. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning at 8:30 at Mater Christi Parish, Albany. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Anthony J. Prinzo.
