Anthony J. Jesmain, Sr.

COHOES – Anthony J. Jesmain, Sr., 86, of Cohoes, passed away on August 10, 2024. He was born in Troy on July 9, 1938 a son of the late Anthony T. and Viola (Shriner) Jesmain. He proudly served in the New York Army National Guard from 1958 to 1961.

Anthony was employed Behr Manning then Normanskill Dairy which later became Crowley Foods in Albany for many years. He then went on to become Union President of Local 669 of Albany after which Tony then became involved in Real Estate, employed by Realty USA.

Tony was a hard working but a loving, kind and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed. He enjoyed camping with his family and he was a devoted Yankees fan.

He is survived by his wife Patricia; his sons, Anthony Jr. (Jayne), John (Brenda) and Kevin (Laurie); his grandchildren, Marielle, Nicole, Kevin and Tony III, and his brother, Richard.

Tony’s family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Laurie Jesmain, Betsy Whitney, Victor Medina and Susan Whitney for the loving and devoted care they have given to Tony and to Patricia.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a service immediately following at 12:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet.
