SCHENECTADY – Anthony Joseph Boeck, 53, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
Tony was born on September 18, 1959 in Schenectady and was the son of the late Richard and Veronica Boeck. He served in the US Army from 1980 to 1990, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He adored his daughter, loved life and loved his cats.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Tanya Boeck of Germany; his siblings, Bernice Boeck of NC, Jonathan Boeck of NY, Jerome (Claire) Boeck of NY, Antoinette Tryniszewski of NY, and Alan (Susan) Boeck of VA and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his longtime companion Roxanne Stranghoener of MO.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Church in Latham. Entombment will take place at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville on Tuesday at 12 noon.
