Rensselaer- Anthony L. Edmunds, 45, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 30, 2016 with his loving family by his side.
Anthony was born on August 17, 1970 in Albany, New York. He was a graduate of Glenmont job corps and went to Bryant and Stratton career college. After college, Anthony worked as a roofer and retail warehouse manager as an entrepreneur. He love cooking for his family and friends and was known as a practical joker, the " Big Guy". Anthony enjoyed meeting new people along with playing chess and poker. He liked drawing and writing poetry and everything from traveling to collecting collectible toys. He had impeccable taste. He wanted only the best for himself and family. He is loved by many, and truly was a classic man.
He will be forever missed by his loving wife: Janessa C. Edmunds; daughters: Justina T. Edmunds, and Kyaira D.Edmunds; mother: Helen St.John, father: Mr. Henry L Edmunds Sr.; grandmother: Mrs.Gladys Edmunds; stepmother: Anna Edmunds; stepfather: Mr. Robert St.John; siblings: Henry L Edmunds Jr., Kimbria M Edmunds, Kahlijah Edmunds, Crystal Edmunds, and N'ajaleek Edmunds; sons: Ra-Meek Anthony L. Edmunds, Eshaun Anthony L. Edmunds, and Kyaire U. Edmunds; grandson: Justice A. Mabry; mother in-law: Vanessa Meredith; sister in-law: Pamela Walton; and his two brother in-laws: Joseph D Nix and Maurice A Gray Jr.; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank all family and friends whom supported and celebrated Anthony's life. Many blessings in all that you do.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Saturday, August 6th, 2016, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A memorial service will be held following calling hours at 3:00 pm.
