Watervliet- Anthony Fidel Pompey aka Fidel Walker, 61, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Anthony was born April 20, 1960, son to the late Edgar and Leila Walker.
Anthony was a member of Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Anthony enjoyed spending time with his entire family and was always smiling, joking, and laughing.
Anthony is survived by his siblings, Leon E. (Carol) Pompey, Caleb (Paulette) Pompey, Patrick (Yevette) Pompey, Trevor (Claire) Walker, Lyndon Pompey, Philipa (Ashton) Cantzlaar, Caludett Cupidor, Geanett Walker, Yvonne Walker, Desiree Ceaser-McCurdy, Jackie E. Pompey; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Anthony is predeceased by his sister, Joan; and his brother Fitzroy Walker.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Joanne C. Porter, of The Albany Medical Center Hospital, Dr. Miguel R. Diaz and staff of Community Care Family Medicine, as well as the entire staff of the Community Hospice of Albany.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Sunday March 27, 2022 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at 2pm.
