Anthony F. Randio, 78, of East Greenbush, passed away on April 22, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Anthony was born on March 28, 1947 to Burton and Elena Randio in Albany, NY . He graduated in 1965 from New York State School for the Deaf in Rome, NY . Along with his studies, Anthony was an avid sportsman, with a love for football, basketball, and baseball since childhood.
Following graduation, Anthony began his career as an excellent baker for the New York State Offices of General Services. After 30 loyal years, he retired and continued to truly enjoy life. He met Becky, and they wed in September 2004. They spent many years together traveling across the states exploring camping sites, bowling events, and Deaf events. Anthony was an adventurous soul, which showed through his passions of traveling, camping, boating, fishing, and socializing with the Deaf community. Above all, Anthony was a caretaker and enjoyed being with his family more than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. Every time he was surrounded by his family, he would smile and say how much he loved everyone. He attended many family gatherings and was so excited to attend milestone events with his grandchildren. Anyone who knew Anthony knew that he was a loving husband to Becky, a caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Burton and Elena and brothers Bert and John.
He is survived by his wife, Becky; daughters Jennifer (Pearl) and Kerri (Ernest); grandchildren, Brianna, Ernie, and Andrew, and siblings Fran (Dan), Frank (Gail), Anne (Paul), and an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
