CLIFTON PARK – Anthony S. Gatulik, 80, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 with his family by his side. Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Haritonak and Catherine Gatulik. Tony was a U.S. Air Force veteran during the Korean War, serving his country from 1952 to 1956. He continued serving with the Air Force in reserve for four years. Tony worked for Al Tech Specialty Steel in Colonie for thirty-seven years before retiring and then for seventeen years with Albany Memorial Hospital from where he also retired. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing.
Tony is the beloved husband of 55 years to Helen A. (Doleski) Gatulik. He is the devoted father of Anthony R. (Donna) Gatulik, Diane (Richard) Hopper, Sharon (John) May and Steven (Michelle) Gatulik. He is the cherished grandfather of Nichole, Brandon, Danielle, Justin, Garrett, Amber, Heather, Blain and Chloe. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren and many cousins.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
