Anthony "Tony" D. Tebano, of Schenectady, passed away suddenly on June 12, 2024. Born on October 29, 1945, he was the son of the late Anthony and Carmela (Malgieri) Tebano.
He loved music, dancing and he played in "Tony and the Goldtones" band. He graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in Schenectady.
Tony attended culinary school for two years and worked in food and restaurant hotel service for over twenty years. He loved traveling and going out to dinner with friends and relatives. He was a longtime employee for Capital Luxury Cars and McGovern Automotive group.
Tony is survived by his longtime partner of 30 years, Patricia Barringer-Cline, his daughter, Tammy (Nick) Savino, his granddaughter, Maria (Kurtis) Savino, and cousins, Carmen, Anthony, Viola (Gary), Staci (Brandon), Jack (Kathy), and Clifford (Mary).
Tony would like to extend a special thank you to Patricia Barringer's family for accepting him into their lives: Jeff, Shelly, Bob, Donna, Janet, Nicole (Derek), Chloe, Corey (Rebecca), Eliana, Cameron and the rest of the family.
Calling hours will be held for Tony at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie on June 19, 2024 from 5PM to 8PM. A private burial will take place at St. Cyril Methodist Cemetery, 611 Duanseburg Road, Rotterdam.
