SCHENECTADY - Anthony "Tony" D. DeBerardinis, 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at his home with loving family by his side.
Tony was born on February 17, 1948 in Brooklyn, son of the late Anthony and Rose (Bliuseia) DeBerardinis. He worked for ARC where he enjoyed taking care of his patients. He enjoyed making pop-up greeting cards where he would send to family and friends for all occasions.
Tony was a supportive father with more advice then anyone we have ever known, he loved philosophy! There was no question about a problem that he didn't have a complicated answer for. Through all the ups and downs that life gives a person he always stayed strong and was always there for his children.
Tony was predeceased by his brother Louie DeBerardinis and his sisters, Rosemary DeBerardinis and Linda DeBerardinis.
Tony is survived by his step-mother, Connie DeBerardinis; his siblings, Bob DeBerardinis (Susan), Joan DeBerardinis Brown (Merwin); his children, Linda DeBerardinis (Harold), Bridgett DeBerardinis, Jennifer Moreno, Dan DeBerardinis (Randy Tryon), Tammy Allen (Jason), and Richard DeBerardinis (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jacquline, Araela, Aleighsha, Kayla, Desirae and Christian and two granddaughters; eight great grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. There will be no service.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made, in honor of Anthony "Tony" D. DeBerardinis, to the American Counseling Association https://www.counseling.org.
