Antoinette A. Restifo

ALBANY- Antoinette A. Restifo, 89, of Albany, passed away on Sunday March 8, 2009 at Springs Nursing Home in Troy after a brief illness.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Genarina Anziano. Antoinette was a longtime parishioner at St. Vincent de Paul Church and worked the polls on election day for many years. She was an active resident of the St. Vincent Apartments. Antoinette enjoyed bowling, bingo and her spending time with her loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony E. Restifo.
She is the loving mother of Anthony ( Donna) Restifo Jr. and Mrs. Angela (Alfred) Bertrand. She is the cherished grandmother of Kirk Greenfield Jr. Deena (Jeff) Lestage, Michelle (John) Mendrysa and Anthony Restifo. Antoinette is teh loving aunt of Eleanor Weeks, James Roman Sr., Suzanne, Joseph and Salvatore Anziano Sr. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday morning at 9:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Vincent dePaul Church at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 3 to 7 pm at the funeral Home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
