ROTTERDAM- Antoinette Anzalone, 89, of Rotterdam, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Pittson, PA and was the daughter of the late Carlo and Josephine Cassaro.
Antoinette was an administrative clerk with New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs in Albany for many years, before retiring in 1983. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a longtime communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.
She was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, Charles (Kie) Anzalone. Antoinette is the beloved mother of Charles Anzalone, Ronald (Linda) Anzalone and Daniel Anzalone. She is the sister of Charles Cassaro, Marion Mogevaro, Peter (Barbara) Cassaro and the late Joseph Cassaro. Antoinette is the devoted sister in law of Theresa Cassaro. She is the cherished grandmother of Charles Anzalone, Justine Erikson, John Anzalone, Heather Williams and Brittney Alamo. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday morning at 10:00 at Immaculate Conception Church, Bradt St. Schenectady. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Home for Women, 1519 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 1209 in memory of Antoinette Anzalone.
