Antoinette Brennan

COLONIE, NY – Antoinette (Toni) Brennan, 79, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Julie Blair Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born on August 3, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Marvelli Reitano. Antoinette resided in Watervliet for most of her life. She was employed at Cluett & Peabody and the N.Y.S. Dept. of Taxation & Finance. Antoinette was a communicant of Mt. Carmel Church in Watervliet and was active in church and civic groups. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Brennan and her siblings, Catherine Consola, Angelyn Julian and John Reitano. Antoinette is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Daniel) Pascazio of Summerville, SC, and her sons, Kevin J. (Bonnie) Brennan of FL, John J. (June) Brennan, Jr. of Colonie and David W. Brennan of Rensselaer, NY. She is the grandmother of Jeremy Brennan, Daniel Pascazio, Tammy Desmarais, Nicholas Pascazio, Ryan Brennan, Chad Brennan and Ashley Larkin. She is the great-grandmother of Tyler Brennan, Carson Demarais, Anna Claire Pascazio and Massimo Daniel Pascazio. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Clare in Colonie. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loundonville, NY 12211 or the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern NY, 85 Watervliet Ave., Albany, NY 12206 in memory of Antoinette Brennan.
