Antoinette A. Dinardo
July 26, 1923 — November 21, 2018
Cohoes- Antoinette A. Dinardo, 95, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, she relocated to Cohoes, New York. Antoinette is predeceased by her husband, Angelo Dinardo.
Antoinette worked for 33 years at Cluett Peabody before her retirement.
She is survived by her sons, Ralph Dinardo (Kathy) and Vito DiNardo (Sandi). She was the loving "Gram" to Michele Hayes (Steve), Tina Vumbaco, Stephanie Hayes (Matt) and Christopher DiNardo (Jenn). She was the devoted "GiGi" to her eight great grandchildren. Antoinette is also survived by her many nieces and nephews whom affectionately called her "Big Auntie Ann". She was also known as "Maggie" to her sisters in law, Geri Dinardo and Ann Vogt (Bill). She also leaves behind her special friend, Joan McKeon who knew her as "Babe".
She is predeceased by her siblings, Louis Battista, Marco Battista, Tessie Catrone, Margie Perretti and Ceil Tufano.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and residents at Millview Assisted Living as well as the staff in the Neurology Unit at Albany Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital online at www.StJude.org/give or to a charity of your choice in Antoinette's honor.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 9:00am-10:00am at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110. A mass of Christian burial will follow starting at 10:00am with entombment being held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
