COLONIE – Antoinette "Toni" A. Galietta, 67, died on Monday, March 14, 2005 at St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady.
Toni was born on July 25, 1937 in Albany to the late Louis and Mary Mayone. She graduated from the Philip Schuyler High School in 1955 and retired as a bookkeeper from The Mohawk Club in 1984.
On August 23, 1958, she married Michael P. Galietta at St. Anthony's Church in Albany. She was a loving wife and mother.
Toni is survived by her loving husband, Michael P. Galietta; two sons, Michael P. (Stephanie) Galietta Jr. and John J. Galietta; three granddaughters, Nicole, Jaimie and Macy; three aunts, Nancy DiMoro, Rae Feil and Sister Alva Mayone; a brother-in-law, Joseph (Kathy) Galietta; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Galietta; cousins, Vince and Debbie DiMoro, Carter and Cookie Smith and Mitch and Becky DiMoro; four nieces, Bonnie M. Callahan, Helene (Jim) Reed, Terry Urquhart and Erica Galietta; two nephews, Louis John Mayone Jr. and Joe Galietta; and many grand nieces and grand nephews. She is also survived by her inner circle of friends and neighbors and her treasured and devoted dog, Stephanie.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday at St. Gabriel's Church, 3040 Hamburg St. in Rotterdam.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 421 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Toni A. Galietta.
