Antoinette Mirabile

COLONIE- Antoinette A. "Red" Mirabile, 80, of Colonie, passed away on Wednesday morning at the Inn of Community Hospice after a lengthy illness. She was born in Shenandoah, PA and was the daughter of the late Michael and Alice Milewski Baranowski.
Mrs. Mirabile had worked for New York State for over twenty five years. She was a Silver Star mother of the Salvation Army, a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church and a member of the Colonie Elks Ladies Auxillary . She enjoyed visiting casinos and was an avid bingo player.
Antoinette is the beloved wife of 54 years to Joseph T. Mirabile. She is the devoted mother of Anita M. Mirabile and John J. Mirabile. She was the sister of the late Sr. Anita, Clara, Eleanor, Helen, Mollie, Eddie and Albert. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9:15 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt-155-south of Central Ave) then to Our Lady of Mercy Church at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. At the request of the family, memorial contributions are suggested to Our Lady of Mercy Church of Community Hospice of Albany.
