ALBANY – Antonette Celella Scarselletta, 83, passed away Friday October 8, 2010.
Born in Hudson, NY, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Nancy (Rapauno) Celella.
Antonette and her husband of 60 years, Albert L. Scarselletta, owned and operated Everite Heating and Plumbing Service of Colonie, NY. She was a great cook, gifted at crocheting, needlework and sewing and a long time communicant of Christ Our Light Catholic Church.
In addition to her beloved husband Albert, she is survived by her daughter, Nancy Ann Scarselletta (Kenneth Slack); and siblings Mary Zumbo, Pat Cellela, Frances Blaine–Whipple and Carl (Mary) Celella. Antonette is also survived by her grandchildren, Sarah, Roger L., and Shannon Scarselletta; stepgrandsons, Jacob and Stephen Slack; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Louis A. Scarselletta and brother-in-law, Vincent Zumbo.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:30 p.m. from New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road Colonie then to Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Calling hours will be Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
