WESTERVILLE, OH – Antonia N. "Nina" Quevin, 71, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Mt. Carmel St. Anne's Hospital in Westerville, OH after a short illness. Born in Falcone, Sicily on March 5, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Antonino and Francesca Foti. Her family emigrated to Junin, Argentina after World War II. She moved to Albany with her husband in 1960. Mrs. Quevin worked for several different companies, including Fuller Brush, Cohoes Garment Co., Price Chopper, the State of New York and the Albany City School District. Nina was the beloved wife of the late Eduardo Quevin. She is the devoted mother of Sandra Stratmann and her husband, Frederick of Westerville, OH and the late Edita Quevin. She was the cherished grandmother of Alexander, Conor and Isabella Stratmann. Nina was predeceased by her brothers, Andrea, Giovanni, Carmelo, Augustino and Franco, and her sisters, Concetta Milici and Maria Fazio. Several nieces and nephews in the United States, Argentina and Italy also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
