ALBANY – Antonio Notaro, 72, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Antonio was born on September 18, 1937 in Tiriolo, Italy and was the son of the late Attilio and Delia (Juliano) Notaro.
Antonio is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Maria (Giglio) Notaro; his devoted children, Delia Notaro, Teresa Notaro and Vincent Notaro (Blair Badaracco); and his cherished grandchildren, Christina and Gabriella Colao, Anthony Bennett and Maria Drescher. He is also survived by 6 brothers and sisters all of Italy; his brother-in-law, Frank Giglio (Antoinette); his sister-in-law, Livia Oliveti and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care and concern given to Antonio.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to St. James Church, Albany, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
